An Extensible Compact Model Description Language and Compiler
نویسنده
چکیده
In this paper, we describe the Compact Model Compiler approach to developing and supporting compact device models. A single model specification and model compiler tool support circuit simulation, parameter extraction, and documentation. We present three examples of the model compiler approach: a compact transisitor model, a bandgap reference circuit, and a flip-flop.

Huddl: the Hydrographic Universal Data Description Language
Resumen Since many of the attempts to introduce a universal hydrographic data format have failed or have been only partially successful, a different approach is proposed. Our solution is the Hydrographic Universal Data Description Language (HUDDL), a descriptive XML-based language that permits the creation of a standardized description of (past, present, and future) data formats, and allows for...
متن کاملCompiler Support for Extensible Languages
The use of a rigid general purpose language is, by an increasing part of the software engineering community, no longer considered to be the optimal solution. The requirements on a programming language are not static, but change over time and depend on the application domain in which the language is used. To address this, one can recognise two main approaches, i.e. application domain languages a...
متن کاملEvita raced: metacompilation for declarative networks
Declarative languages have recently been proposed for many new applications outside of traditional data management. Since these are relatively early research efforts, it is important that the architectures of these declarative systems be extensible, in order to accommodate unforeseen needs in these new domains. In this paper, we apply the lessons of declarative systems to the internals of a dec...
متن کاملDelegating Compiler Objects: Modularity and Reusability in Language Engineering
The application domain of compiler techniques is changing. Whereas previously compiler techniques were primarily used for the construction of compilers for general purpose languages, now these techniques are increasingly often used for the construction of application domain languages and extensible language models. However , the traditional compiler techniques suuer from problems of complexity,...
متن کاملCoParsing of RDF & XML
parsing, coroutines, XML, RDF, inversion RDF/XML is defined using two grammars, that for XML over text, and that for RDF over XML nodes. Conway's classic pipeline compiler architecture is extended to have two coparsers one for each grammar. A direct implementation of this architecture using Java threads for coroutines is presented. An alternate implementation, with the second parser inverted is...
